Ode to Hekate – Goddess of Magic
Do you sit and wander late late at night
Of all the things unknown to mortals
Of the shadows that dance beyond your sight
Of hidden things behind lost portals
Those things of old, of the arcane
The secret knowledge of such power
Such things for mortals are a bane
Their mental state they will devour
That is the power, the knowledge Hekate holds
With great composure, control like no other
Magick that grips, stretches, bends and folds
Reality is the child, Hekate is her mother.
So be respectful to her, be warned
Or do you want that challenge? Go for it!
Soon, by your loved ones you’ll be mourned
For soon your wasted life will be forfeit.
